My First Cold Plastic Box
Apparently, a surprising number of nursery school kids use the internet- even the ones who can't read. Nothing but smiles from the educators who can't see anything wrong with kids learning how to communicate with a cold plastic box before other human faces. My favorite quote is from educator Susan Patrick: "Young students don't differentiate between the face-to-face world and the Internet world." Which, oddly enough, she seems to be arguing is somehow normal.
