Her Majesty's Ass Kickers

Well, the British police have handed down the first charges in the July 21st bombings there, and they have, so far, arrested 17 people involved with the bombings. I've been happily surprised at how effective the British police have been in handling these bombings. I realize the English people are still quite scared, and with good reason, but the police response has been extremely well-handled. I'm not sure why it surprises me to see that the bobbies are quite capable of kicking ass, but it's a treat. Of course, they've had nearly four years to prepare for this. But, it's still rather impressive to think that they could, possibly, round up all the fanatics responsible for these horrible acts, and have them rotting in prison cells by Christmas. Something to hope for anyway.
