Sexual Settling

Darwin was wrong about sexual selection, according to some biologists. (But "totally right!" according to a poll of America's athletes) Apparently, females in many species do not actually go males with the sexiest traits. For my wife, this is old news.

I think most women are attracted to success, as this is easily interpreted as an indicator of strength. If ot success, then a person who displays a sense of direction, drive, detemrination, a man who has high but realistic goals and goes about acieving them. So-called sexual traits may be appealling in a transitory way, but as the old saying goes, most women would prefer a plain, average looking man with drive and common sense over a sexy, charming nut.

Yeah, I've noticed over the years that the sort of men that women date when they're 21 tend to be a lot different than the ones they marry.
