Turkey Day

For the Americans out there...

Happy Thanksgiving

As you might know, Greg and Holly are in Austria, where they don't celebrate Thanksgiving, while Claire and I are in Canada, where they celebrate Thanksgiving in October. So, we're skipping all of that today. Although I do plan to eat a pumpkin pie in the near future...

Happy day to you guys! (We actually didn't celebrate Thanksgiving in the US, either, we made a habit of going hiking that day.)

But pie is good. I wish Austria had pie. I have a fantasy about introducing Austria to pie, and diners, because there is also nowhere a person can go 24/7 to get coffee and some eggs with toast. Or a slice of pie.

Coffee, they have in spades.

Just about everything they eat in France is pie-like, but I don't know that they have actual pie. David Lynch would hate Austria, from the sound of it.
