That's SO not my thing. It looks like a hygiene product of some kind. Quilted for absorbancy.

Hmmm... maybe I should have posted the orange one...

Nah, I just looked through all their products galleries, it looks like Ligne Roset is at the forefront of everything I hate about current design trends.

Ooh do tell! I love a good rant.

It's just an aesthetic I don't get, like dry humping a really cheap file cabinet. "Gee, you know what would be better than furnishings with interesting lines? Furnishings with all the charisma of an 89¢ disposable lighter! That would be sweeeet! Even better is if it's inexplicably expensive, and somehow necessitates 3 times the space it actually should. Then, we'd achieve Nirvana!"

Don't get me wrong; I don't care if YOU like it. I just have no place for it in my heart. I'm the kind of girl who ovulates just looking at buildings like these or watches like these, or knives like these.

Someday when I have more energy on tap I'll tell you what I think of Minimalism in general....

No that's cool. I wasn't fond of the rest of the catalog- I just like that chair because it reminds me of 60s futuristic, which I do like.

Incidentally, I think I posted here about Antoni Gaudi a while ago. That is one of my favorite buildings in the world, but the church he did is just incredible. By some strange coincidence, I just had a long conversation with my mom and sister about Gaudi (although I couldn't remember his name to save my life) when they visited Paris. There are a lot of Art Nouveau buildings in Paris, along with the famous art nouveau Metro entrances. So, yeah, that's some good stuff there.
