When I used to teach, I saw students copying each other or using some online source (like we wouldn't know) all the freaking time. It just broke my heart because I knew they didn't care about actually learning something. Gaining knowledge for its own sake, or simply improving themselves, was just not a priority to them.
I feel yer pain.
I've decided the thing to do is just fail the kid and forget about it. There are many good students in the class and they make it worthwhile. Some children should be left behind.
Dude, off topic, but I was checking our weblog stats and apparently, we got a referral from a reader of yours who lives in Hanoi. Cool, huh?
I think it's probably from the Andrew Sullivan link- During the 15 seconds of fame, I got people from all over. It's pretty neat that someone in Hanoi visited though. My favorite surprise guest was the fellow who stopped by from Delhi to discuss Dharma and Karma.
