An age of biological wonders

More proof that this century will be the century of biology:
Doctors are on the verge of finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
And they're getting much closer to creating an AIDS vaccine than ever before.
Pretty incredible, isn't it?

That is good news; the BBC reports World losing fight against AIDS, only when they say it, it's got awkwardly imposed quotation marks.

That's really the bad news of it is that there are so few people with HIV who are getting treatment. But the good news is that the treatment is well on the way to making HIV a chronic illness instead of a terminal one.
