The Smartest Guys in the Prison

Two incredibly guilty men found incredibly guilty. Wowee.

What does it say when the upper classes are anti-social sociopaths? Hell if I know,

It just says they are starting to get by with it less than they used to be able to count on doing, thankfully.

Well, this was the largest bankruptcy in American history. So, it's not like it could just squeak by.

It's not over yet, there's still years of appeals, and the possiiblityof a presidential pardon at the end of Bush's term.

If it hadn't been for 9/11, there's no telling how long this would have been going on before it all fell apart. People might as we speak be investing their life savings in Enron, but 9/11 blew the cover right off.

Was that what happened? I couldn't quite tell from The Smartest Guys in the Room. What seemed strange was how people were unconcerned about that first article in Fortune Magazine. A few years later and it turns out that the woman who wrote it was totally right. It's like something out of a bad dream.
