Trailer Park Boys

I don't know if Trailer Park Boys is televised anywhere in the states, but it's very popular up here. People keep telling me that it's "very Canadian humor", but it makes me laugh.

I keep reading about it on Canadian blogs and I wondered what it was all about.

... and I liked it. LOL, thanks. The interesting thing to me is that these guys are so nice...if it was made in the states, trailer park boys would be rude assholes.

Kaat, I assure you, these guys have their asshole moments. This is a tame clip.

Although I'm not a dedicated watcher, I tune in when I remember to do so. It really has laugh out loud moments.

The thing I like about it is that they're these degenerates, but they really care about each other. It's also a very funny show.

I don't know why HBO or someone doesn't pick this up in the states. I mean, they showed SCTV in the states when I was a kid, and I still don't get that show.

One of the most touching episodes was when Bubbles finally opened the present from his long-gone parents. Or when the guys realized that they had contributed to Lahey's fall from grace.

The show has garnered a lot of attention, so I too am surprised that it hasn't been picked up by the U.S.

It's puzzling to me. To be honest, I've never thought Red Green was very funny, but my Dad can get that on the PBS station in Maine. So, I have no idea why they don't import it.
